Rooted in Jesus (Apr. 18-Jun. 13/21)

Being a disciple of Jesus means being rooted in Jesus. It means recognizing Jesus as the Good Shepherd and oneself as a part of His flock; it means connecting to Jesus as a branch connects to the larger vine; it means abiding in Jesus’ love; it means being one with all those who are similarly rooted in Jesus. Being a disciple of Jesus means we are never left to our own devices or our own power, but are nourished by the eternal life of God’s own Holy Spirit.
