Christ Is King (Nov. 22/20, Nov. 21/21)

We celebrate the reign of Christ. We remember that He was crowned with thorns, mocked by soldiers, crucified, and buried. We remember that death could not hold Him. We remember that He ascended to join His Father by taking His place at the right hand of God where He reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords. We remember that “to Him was given dominion and glory and kingship, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, and His kingship is one that shall never be destroyed” (Daniel 7:14).
