Sermon Note

There was not a sermon this week. Instead, the congregation was invited into small groups to talk about the following:

1. 1. What kind of fruit do people produce?
   2. Looking at Galatians 5:13-26, which contrasts works of the flesh (bad treasure) and fruits of the Spirit (good treasure), when have you seen bad treasure and good treasure this week?
   3. What are you asking God to help you with in producing good fruit in your own life?

Luke 6:43-45

⁴³ “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; ⁴⁴ for each tree is known by its own fruit. For people do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from a bramble bush. ⁴⁵ The good person out of the good treasure of the heart produces good, and the evil person out of evil treasure produces evil, for it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.
