We’re Baptist – What Does That Mean?
It could be argued that things like Baptist (or Anglican, or United, or Methodist, or…) don’t matter. I’ve heard it said that we live in a post-denominational age. But, even if that’s true, Walmer has always been and continues to be Baptist. So over the course of 8 weeks we’re going to be talking about what that means. What do Baptists believe? How did Baptists begin? What are some contributions to the world by Baptists through history? Where do we see all this in Walmer?
This is the first of a 3-part series of discussions for anyone who wants to know and understand our church better. Part 2 will include conversations about Walmer’s history, what we value, the development project, and our revitalization. Part 3 will invite you to ask the question: Where Do I Fit?
