We’ll be watching and discussing 3 short videos produced by the Downie Wenjack Fund. The purpose of these videos is as follows:
The Indigenous Cultural Competency Training offered by the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund is intended to provide Legacy Spaces partners with the necessary support to improve the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and values necessary to move reconciliation forward.
The videos each cover a different topic and were developed within a cultural competency framework that focuses on moving organizations and employees towards being culturally proficient and promoting cultural humility when engaging with Indigenous employees, colleagues, customers/clients, communities, and others.
