At Walmer, we believe in being a warm and welcoming community for those that pass through our doors. To be able to do so, we have done our utmost to ensure that everyone can get through our doors and move around freely in our spaces.
- To enter the building, there is an accessible entrance at the parking lot door (east end of the parking lot) and the Lowther Avenue doors (via ramp).
- All floors can be accessed via the ramp (to the kitchen, Lower Hall, and Kids Club Room) or elevator (to rooms on the 2nd, 2R, and 3rd floors.
- Women's accessible washrooms are located on the ground, 2nd, and 3rd floors.
- Men's accessible washrooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
- There is a baby/child change table in the women's ground floor washroom.
If you have a specific question or concern, please contact our office who will be happy to help. For instance, we would be happy to show you around the building prior to Sunday if that would help you feel more comfortable with the space.
