Bathrooms
At the top of the stairs, turn left to find the women’s bathroom, immediately on your left, or turn right and find the men’s bathroom at the other side of the stairs.
Who will you see?
We dress casually – often in jeans and sneakers – though you will see some people dressed a bit more formally.
We are adults from a variety of backgrounds and countries, with a diversity of education, employment, income, and housing.
What will you see?
People
We average between 20 and 30 people, though some of those won’t arrive until after the service begins.
At the back of the room, on the west side, there is a small space for children, including a child-sized chairs and table, crayons, paper, and a few toys. There are not usually children at our Sunday service. Because of that, we do not currently have designated childcare workers or programming.
Seating
There are places to sit all over the room. Please sit where you would be most comfortable. The majority of the seating is in the centre of the room, but there are also some couches at the back, a table with a puzzle on the west side, and more tables on the east side of the room. You will find that most people (but not all) sit in the seating in the centre of the room.
Refreshments
At the back of the room, in the middle, there is hot water for tea and hot chocolate as well as coffee available. There is also water in a small fridge in the same area. Please help yourself before, during, and after the service.
Library
Also at the back of the room, on the east side, there is a small library. Books are available to borrow or read while you are at the church.
